The Reading Train is a
half-hour children’s story time TV show hosted by Judy
Bergsma and produced through WKTV, cable channel 25 in
greater Grand Rapids, Michigan. Each episode has a theme
derived from current or classic children’s books and
features a live studio audience. Up to four books are read
in a lively storytelling manner which is at once enriching
and entertaining. Authors and other special guests appear on
the show to elevate the theme and add a level of excitement
for the viewers at home.
